Astragalus
Astragalus belong to the genus Astragalus and contain over 3,000 botanical species. These plants, which belong to the Fabaceae family, are highly diverse, depending on the species. Many have medicinal properties, such as Astragalus mongholicus, Mongolian astragalus, Astragalus membranaceus, Chinese astragalus, and Astragalus canadensis, Canadian astragalus.
Astragalus prefer sunny exposures and draining, sandy or rocky soils, and dislike heavy, waterlogged soils.
