In this selection you'll find some of the most popular varieties, from the versatile Bintje to the traditional Monalisa. These storage potatoes, with their tender, melt-in-the-mouth flesh, are ideal for creamy mashed potatoes, crispy fries, gratins, soups, roast potatoes, hashbrowns, or even in field dress, the choice of recipes is limitless. They are planted from March to May, once the soil has warmed up and the frosts are over. Harvesting takes place between 110 and 150 days after planting, when the foliage turns yellow.
You'll also find Nouvelles potatoes: from the essential Charlotte to the gourmet Linzer Delikatess. Harvested before they are fully ripe, this type of potato reveals a very thin skin and offers a delicate texture as well as a sweeter, more subtle flavor. Enjoy them in salads, raclette dishes, as a side dish, or simply with a little butter and salt.
Harvest from June, 75 to 110 days after planting. Pick as needed: this precocious variety can only be kept for a few days in the shade.
