Ipomea
Ipomoeas are plants in the Convolvulaceae family. The genus Ipomoea comprises over 500 species of voluble plants, shrubs and trees with a strong need for warmth. The best-known Ipomoeas in gardens are Ipomoea tricolor and Ipomoea purpurea - also known as volubilis - which are annuals. Sweet potatoes also belong to this family.
