Jaborosa
Jaborosa are plants in the Solanaceae family. The Jaborosa genus comprises some twenty species, all native to South America. The species featured in the Kokopelli catalog is Jaborosa sativa. This species is native to Argentina. It contains a number of Withanolides, which are anti-tumoral and anti-inflammatory substances specific to the Solanaceae family. It produces 20 cm-high plants that are sometimes perennial, reproducing from the root system. Leaves form a basal rosette; flowers are green and fruits are walnut-sized.
