Phacelia
Phacelia are plants in the Hydrophyllaceae family. The Phacelia genus includes around 150 annual, biennial and perennial species, some of which are shrubby, all native to America and all of which are melliferous. The best-known species, Phacelia tanacetifolia , is ideal as a green manure and can be planted at the edge of cultivated fields to feed hoverflies, whose larvae devour aphids.
