Mustards
Mustards belong to the Brassicaceae family and include numerous species such as Brassica juncea: Indian mustard, oriental mustard, brown mustard and leaf mustard, Brassica rapa: Japanese mustard and spinach mustard and Brassica carinate: Abyssinian mustard. They are surprising in their shapes, flavors - sweet or spicy - and colors, and make a wonderful addition to mixed salads or mescluns.
