Assortment - Mini balcony mid-shade
Small planters or pots are all you need to turn a small balcony into a lush, fruitful mini-garden. This pack of 5 varieties lets you discover or rediscover the flavor of freshly picked crops. Suitable for a space with at least 4 hours of sunshine, these varieties can also be grown on a terrace, in a courtyard or in a vegetable garden with the same exposure.
Varieties for the semi-shade mini-garden are sown from late winter to spring (February to March). Harvesting lasts from April to December. A calendar on the back of the sachets indicates the sowing and harvesting periods for each species.
-Lettuce En Mélange Freedom Mix
This is a "genetic reservoir" created by Frank Morton and obtained by crossing highly resistant varieties with some of his tastiest lettuces. The result combines the most excellent characteristics of these different varieties. Frank Morton specifically requests that any breeding work based on his "Merlox genepool" remains in the public domain.
This old variety produces simple, dark-green foliage. The presence of spots on the bags is due to the oil contained in the seeds.
-Physalis Pubescens Aunt Molly
This ancient variety produces an abundance of small orange fruits with firm flesh and a tangerine-like flavor. Protected in their calyxes and stored in a dry, well-ventilated place, physalis can be kept for several weeks.
This mix offers different colors of chard, ranging from white to orange, pink and red, with green or red leaves. The colored varieties generally offer finer chard.
-Chinese carnation Velvet And Lace
This species has double, mauve-pink flowers with white edges, exuding an exquisite fragrance.
Traditional Chinese medicine prescribes it to treat gastrointestinal problems, strengthen blood flow, harmonize menstruation, as a diuretic (dysuria, hematuria, pain, cystitis, gonorrhea, infections...) and to eliminate boils.
