From March to May, sow in nurseries in trays or honeycombed trays on the surface of potting soil. Press lightly to bring the seeds into contact with the substrate and keep them moist throughout the emergence period. It can take up to 3 weeks for the seeds to germinate. Transplant in the garden, in soil well fertilized with nitrogen, from late April to late June, every 20 to 30 cm in rows 40 cm apart. Rhizome propagation is much easier.
