Aquilegia canadensis - Ancolies
Columbine
Perennial of the Renonculaceae family. Superb columbine with red and yellow flowers. Spring flowering. Height up to 60 cm. Adaptable to a wide range of situations (soil, sunlight, etc.).
Sow in cold weather or store seeds in a damp substrate in the fridge 60 days before sowing (monitor regularly and plant if germination begins).
in the ground, in bucket
Sow early in spring in a terrine or box, on the surface, as seeds need light to germinate. Place seedlings in a bright spot between 15 and 18°C. When seedlings have 3 true leaves, prick out into individual pots and plant out when frosts are no longer a concern. Alternatively, sow directly in spring in well-prepared soil.
Adaptable to a wide range of situations (soil, sunshine, etc.).
