Ref : QL0094

Théo Hareng, a 22-year-old biology student, recounts in the form of an initiatory tale his tour of France's ecological and solidarity-based initiatives. With a thumbs-up and "no money", he traveled from region to region, a total of 6,300 km, meeting people who have decided to live differently. Far from the growing eco-anxiety of his generation, this new impetus arouses in him hope, curiosity and exemplarity.

Ecolieux, ecoconstruction, agroecology, militancy and spirituality are at the heart of this journey in search of meaning. In the collective living spaces where he stayed, he shared the daily life of committed, open-minded and dynamic citizens, all driven by the desire to work together to preserve the surrounding ecosystems and defend the precedence of living things.

This rich adventure is written in two volumes, in which he sincerely recounts his discoveries, experiences and reflections. In this first opus, you'll find emblematic French initiatives such as Oasis Colibris, Archipel de la Bascule, Bure Zone Libre and Ferme du Bec-Hellouin. For each of them, he describes their operations and challenges. In this way, he helps to shed light on these "laboratories" that are experimenting with the building blocks of ecological transition and solidarity to build the world of tomorrow.

As you read his testimony, let yourself be touched by this optimistic spark. It will guide you towards a world that is sustainable, equitable, democratic and full of joy.

This book is printed on paper made from 100% grass clippings, using vegetable-based inks.

This first edition was printed in 300 copies, and Théo took care to number them all by hand!
