A variety of edamame soybean. Very prolific plants can reach over 80 cm in height. The flowers are purple and the pods contain 2 to 3 yellow-green seeds with a black hilum. This variety has 41% protein and 20% oil. Indeterminate growth: 110 days.
It was developed by the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, and introduced in 1986. After 10 years of selection, it is the result of crossing several varieties: Wayne, Altona, McCall, Hark and T260.
