Blue - Veronica
This vigorous, compact-forming perennial blooms gracefully in summer with long, upright spikes covered with small, superb blue flowers. Covering the ground, it forms clumps of grayish, hairy foliage. It thrives in sunny beds in well-drained, chalky soil.
in nurseries
Sow in nurseries from spring to midsummer, covering seeds lightly. Keep the substrate moist, but not soggy. Germination takes around thirty days. Transplant seedlings into 8 cm-diameter pots to allow them to develop before transplanting. Gradually acclimatize seedlings to outdoor conditions. When they are sufficiently vigorous, transplant to full sun in well-drained soil, 60 cm apart.
