The spontaneous micro-organisms and trace elements present in Bokashi Starter ensure the fermentation of biodegradable garden and kitchen waste. Unlike conventional compost, this organic amendment prevents waste from rotting and unpleasant odors. The nutrients in Bokashi are thus preserved, nourishing microbial life and detoxifying soils, while making trace elements rapidly available to plants.

• Allows composting of all undesirable organic matter without risk of unpleasant odors or weed regrowth: invasive roots and seeds, bindweed, thistles, fish and meat waste.

Recommendations for use

• To make "Bokashi" fermented compost: sprinkle Bokashi Starter (4 tablespoons) over each 3 to 5 cm layer of organic waste.
• To improve outdoor compost and manure: sprinkle in a small layer after each addition of organic matter.

Do not sow or transplant in pure Bokashi Starter, as this may burn the roots.
