Wood care
Wood is a natural material, and over time your handle may dry out and reveal its surface grain. To avoid this, oil your handle from time to time to nourish it. To recover it, if time has taken its toll, use very fine body paper, sand lightly and evenly and buff it (with linseed oil, for example). To preserve it for as long as possible, do not immerse in water.
Blade care
Use a damp cloth to clean your blade, rather than running it under water. Do not use a dishwasher.
