Sow in trays, under a light shelter, at a temperature of around 18°C. Transplant into pots when plants reach 3 or 4 cm. Plant out after the last frosts, 30 cm apart in all directions. Germination may take up to 3 weeks. For best results, place seeds in the refrigerator at 4-5°C for 2-3 weeks.
Divide the plant in spring, after 3 years of cultivation, to restore its vigor.
