Sow under cover, in buckets or patches. Keep seeds lightly covered and slightly moist until emergence. Transplant when the last frosts have passed. For sowing in the open ground, wait for the soil to warm up. Bury the seeds lightly in loosened soil, every 15 to 20 cm. After emergence, thin out if necessary.
