I combine my crops... and it works!
How to grow productive associations in the organic garden?
Following on from the success of Le poireau préfère les fraises, the book "J'associe mes cultures... et ça marche!" offers us an updated and verified selection of successfully tested associations.
Associated cropping is an ancient practice with many advantages.
This book reveals them to you, setting out the criteria for choosing a good association. It reviews 32 vegetables, indicating favorable and unfavorable combinations for each, as well as their characteristics (botanical family, planting or sowing period, rooting depth, etc.).
He then provides 25 "turnkey" combinations of 2 or, more often, 3 vegetables, to be planted between March and October, with precise planting dates and planting distances for each, as well as possible variations and expected production.
Finally, 5 models of combined vegetable gardens are proposed, from the smallest (10 m2) to the largest (200 m2 or more). For each model, it indicates the succession of combinations to be cultivated over the months, with supporting plans. The list of vegetables available for consumption is given month by month, along with estimated yields.
An effective and ecological way to increase production and minimize the impact of pests and diseases, whatever the size of your garden!
