Carefully prepare the area to be sown so that the soil is loose and finely crumbled on the surface. This will ensure more even emergence of the various seeds. Sow light seeds directly in place, broadcasting at a rate of 0.5 g per square metre. Rake to lightly bury the seeds and press down with a board or the back of a rake. Keep the soil moist until the seeds emerge.
