New Mama Super Sweet - Yellow Sweet Corn
This recent variety, one of the first open-pollinated super-sweet corn, produces multiple yellow ears of extremely sweet kernels early in the season. They retain their flavor after harvest.
It was selected from crosses between Tim Peters' super-sweet corn variety, "White Sugar", and an early yellow corn variety by Friedemann Ebner from Sativa Rheinau in Switzerland.

Sow directly in place, after the last frosts, 1 seed every 30 cm, in rows 70 cm apart. Cover seeds with 3 cm of fine soil. Plant when 15 to 20 cm high.
Hoe superficially at the start of vegetation. When the plants are 30 cm tall, hoe them to encourage root anchorage. Depending on the climate, water when the plants become more vigorous. Staggering the sowing can allow you to harvest fresh ears until the frosts.
