Sow in trays or pots, under a light shelter, at a temperature of at least 18°C, 6 to 8 weeks before the last frosts. Seedlings should be kept warm before being transplanted to the garden, 20 to 30 cm apart in all directions, after the last frosts. Caution: too low temperatures or less than 12 hours of consecutive light can cause premature flowering.
Celosias love warmth, so place them in a sunny spot. To spread out the flowering period, cut back wilted stems as you go along.
