Pineapple Sangria - Centratherum
This perennial plant, native to Brazil, forms small bushes with toothed leaves and a delicate pineapple fragrance. Throughout the summer, it produces an abundance of lavender-pink, melliferous flowers, about 5 cm in diameter.
Sow lightly in trays or honeycomb trays, lightly cover seeds and press. Keep seedlings moist, at a temperature between 20 and 25°C, under a well-lit shelter. Transplant into individual pots when plants are 5 cm high. Transplant in the garden, when there is no risk of frost, spacing them 30 to 40 cm apart.
