Raw diatomaceous earth powder
Diatomaceous earth is the result of the accumulation of diatom shells (micro-algae with a silica envelope) over several million years in the beds of ancient seabeds. It takes the form of a porous brown, grey or white rock which, once reduced to powder, reveals a wide range of applications, some of which have been known since Antiquity. Composed of over 80% mineral silica.

Controlling domestic insects and pests
For insects, Diatomaceous Earth is a deadly dust whose sharp particles act like microscopic razors. The edges of fossilized diatom skeletons cut into the insect's protective envelope, dehydrating it and killing it thanks to the absorbing power of diatomite, the rock from which diatomaceous earth is derived. This "mechanical" mode of action does not use any chemical substances. As a result, pests develop no resistance to this powdered rock. Any insect that comes into contact with the powder will die within 24 to 72 hours as a result of dehydration. The use of abrasive and desiccant powders dates back to Antiquity. Diatomaceous Earth is effective against: ants, aphids, mites, cockroaches, moths, corn earworms, earwigs, flies, leafhoppers, bedbugs, dimorphs, weevils, carpet beetles, millipedes, silverfish, slugs, mites, lice, red lice, snails, bedbugs, red spiders, floor fleas. Sprinkle on infested areas and around the house in dry weather. Repeat after rain. The effect of diatomaceous earth is also repellent, and pests cannot develop resistance. Diatomaceous earth is a very fine, silky powder, similar to flour or talcum powder; it can, however, irritate the eyes and throat. Use with minimum protection.

Deworming animals
Diatomaceous earth is formidable against fleas, ticks and other external parasites. Sprinkle on a dry animal outdoors or in a bathtub to avoid spreading the powder. Repeat once or twice a week for a minimum of 3 weeks to reach the unhatched forms at the time of first application.
-
Fortify the animal's metabolism through the action of trace elements and Silica
-
Eliminate internal parasites (Helminthes, Protozoa)
Diatomaceous earth mixed with food or water is an effective natural dewormer for our animals. It's a natural alternative to chemical and toxic dewormers. For effective preventive action, deworm your pet for a week to a month, depending on infestation, approximately every three months.
