CAUTION: germination is very slow, averaging 3 to 6 weeks! Soak seeds for 4 to 5 hours in warm water, then allow to dry and sow in a mixture of fine potting soil and sand 1 to 2 mm deep. Scarifying the seeds improves germination. Keep the substrate moist, at a temperature close to 25°, throughout the germination phase.
