
Sweet Verbena
This sugar herb is a gelatinous perennial whose foliage has a much higher sweetening power than sucrose, with a minty to camphoraceous taste. It can be used in desserts and other sweet preparations.

Sow in trays or honeycombed trays, under a warm, bright shelter, at a temperature of at least 20°C. Cover the seeds very lightly and keep the substrate moist by spraying regularly. Do not allow seeds to dry out. Transplant once seedlings reach 5-6 cm in height and keep warm. Transplant into pots or in the open ground, as soon as the soil has warmed up.
