This militant infusion of plants and spices supports the association Projet pour la Conservation des Grands Singes (PCGS), created in 2006 by primatologist Sabrina Krief and photographer Jean-Michel Krief. The aim of this enthusiastic association is to protect wild chimpanzees and their tropical forest habitat.

In Sebitoli, in the north of Uganda's Kibale National Park, PCGS founded the Sebitoli Chimpanzee Project to reduce poaching and pollution. Its aim is to contribute to better cohabitation between farmers and wildlife through organic, sustainable and fairer farming.
