Are you familiar with cold saponification?

Come and discover the secrets of artisan soapmaking with Claire-Lise Chapuis! During this workshop, you'll learn how to select vegetable oils according to their properties, as well as the various ingredients that will enable you to create your own soap recipes. We'll then take a look at the cold saponification technique and its chemical reaction, while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Claire-Lise Chapuis will guide you through each stage of production, and you'll leave with a practical guide to cold saponification, as well as the 500g of soap you've made yourself.

With a background in chemistry and after working for some twenty years in industry, Claire-Lise Chapuis made the choice to put her skills at the service of her principles, committing herself to an ecological, ethical and responsible approach. In 2017, she launched her own human-scale production in her small laboratory in Campagne-sur-Arize, selling her products at local markets. Today, Claire-Lise works in partnership with Kokopelli and produces for the Association le Savon du Jardinier, which you can find on our online store.

We will welcome you on the date indicated, 10 minutes before the start of the workshop, at the Association Kokopelli premises. Please present your order number or proof of identity at the reception desk. Please note that cancellations received less than 10 days before the workshop date will not be reimbursed.
