Workshop - Identifying medicinal plants, creating infusions - 3h

Discover all the secrets of making herbal infusions, with Julien from Ferme des 8 montagnes. During this workshop, this botanical enthusiast will guide you through the Kokopelli garden and the Castagnès forest to help you recognize medicinal and aromatic plants, both cultivated and wild. You'll learn all about the different techniques for growing, harvesting and drying infusion plants. And, above all, the art of blending them according to their properties, tastes and flavors. Once the theory is out of the way, it's time to get practical! You'll have the opportunity to create your own infusion!

Julien Aït El Mekki is passionate about nature and the Ariège mountains. He worked as a naturalist for 10 years, including 7 at the Parc naturel régional des Pyrénées ariégeoises. In 2022, he became a farmer-herbalist and founded La Ferme des 8 Montagne. Now based in the Séronais region of France, Julien cultivates organically and picks beautiful and tasty plants in the hills and mountains of the Ariege Pyrenees, to offer as infusions and herbal teas.

We'll welcome you on the date indicated, 10 minutes before the start of the workshop, at the Association Kokopelli premises. Please present your order number or proof of identity at the reception desk. Please note that if you cancel less than 4 days before the workshop, your reservation will not be reimbursed. However, you may transfer your place to another person. Please note that the workshop may be postponed if the number of participants is insufficient.
