Yellow Prairie - Ratibida
This perennial species can reach 1 m in height and produces branched stems bearing, from June to September, an abundance of yellow flowers surrounding an upright, cylindrical black heart.
They make excellent cut flowers.

Sow in cold weather or after storing seeds in the fridge for at least 30 days. Sow in trays, under a light shelter. Cover seeds lightly and keep moist by spraying. Where possible, sow in individual pots, 20 cm apart in all directions, before final planting. For autumn sowing, sow in trays. They can be stored under cover throughout the winter until they are ready to be planted in the spring.
