Visit Kokopelli, in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees, France!
The place
Immerse yourself in the heart of a verdant natural park and dare to take the winding, wooded roads of Ariège up to the village of Mas d'Azil, renowned for its prehistoric cave. If you arrive from the north on a sunny day, you'll probably have the chance to admire the magnificent mountain range that separates southern France from Spain! In this village, rich in history and nestled in the heart of the Castagnes forest, you'll find our premises, built entirely from straw, wood, and earth!
The garden
Upon your arrival, surrounded by lush gardens and tall trees, you'll be welcomed by the singing of birds and the buzzing of bees from our educational apiary! Guided by paths bordered with a diversity of seasonal vegetable, medicinal, and floral plants, your steps will lead you through various cultivation areas, some experimental, all while allowing you to appreciate the surrounding nature.
The building
Once satiated by the outdoor beauty, it will then be time to explore our main building. A true seed museum, you'll discover a breathtaking diversity! You'll also meet those who work every day to ensure the Kokopelli Association continues its various missions in service of life and biodiversity!
