Blanche - Corn cockle
All summer long, the white cornflower offers a profusion of graceful, pure-white flowers. This messicolous, honey-bearing plant brings a rural touch to any garden!
The whole plant, and especially the seeds, contain a triterpene saponoside, agrosthemin, which is toxic in high doses in animals and humans.
