Fama White - Scabiosa
This easy-to-grow variety has a light, abundant white bloom that lasts throughout the season and lends itself well to flower bouquets.
in the ground
Sow under cover, in buckets or patches. Keep seeds lightly covered and slightly moist until emergence. Transplant when the last frosts have passed. For sowing in the open ground, wait for the soil to warm up. Bury seeds lightly in loosened soil at 15-20 cm intervals. After emergence, thin out if necessary.
Scabious plants like light, well-drained, calcareous soil. They will, however, thrive in poor soil with sufficient organic matter. To avoid rotting, do not bury the collar of the plant when transplanting.
