Knowlian Black - Ipomea
This relatively late variety can grow up to 6 m long and produces generous, heart-shaped foliage and an abundance of deep purple trumpet-shaped flowers with pink centers.

Sow in pots, under light cover, 4 weeks before the last frost and cover with 1 cm of soil. Water lightly. Transplant into the ground, after the last frosts, at a minimum distance of 40 cm in all directions. For direct sowing, sow lightly in sufficiently warmed soil and thin to a minimum distance of 40 cm in all directions. To promote germination, soak seeds in water the day before sowing.
It produces numerous seeds and spontaneously resprouts.
