Inca Rainbow - Mixed Colours Sweet Corn
This very hardy variety produces 20-30 cm spikes of sweet, multicolored seeds on plants sometimes 3 m high. Stems and leaves are sometimes purple.

Sow directly in place, after the last frosts, 1 seed every 30 cm, in rows 70 cm apart. Cover seeds with 3 cm of fine soil. Plant when 15 to 20 cm high.

This variety is the result of Alan Kapuler's research in the USA. It was developed from a Peruvian variety with flat white kernels from the Chokelo Indians, ancient sweet corn varieties and ancient Native American corn varieties from the southwestern United States.
