Delicata - Pepo squash
This old variety produces green-striped cream fruit, up to 20 cm long and weighing almost 1 kg. Its firm, yellow-orange flesh is reminiscent of reinette apples when raw, and of chestnuts when cooked.

Sow in pots at a temperature of between 18 and 20°C, 2 to 3 weeks before planting. Transplant, with the root ball, into the ground, after the last frosts, at a distance of 2 m in all directions. For sowing directly into the ground, sow after the last frosts when the soil is well warmed. Sow or transplant into planting holes filled with compost and prepared 2 weeks in advance.
