At dusk, this uncommon ipomoea species reveals very large, pure-white flowers, 8 to 14 cm in diameter, which are particularly fragrant. Highly voluble, it can grow to over 3 m.

Sow in pots, under light cover, 4 weeks before the last frost and cover with 1 cm of soil. Water lightly. Transplant into the ground, after the last frosts, at a minimum distance of 40 cm in all directions. For direct sowing, sow lightly in sufficiently warmed soil and thin to a minimum distance of 40 cm in all directions. To promote germination, soak seeds in water the day before sowing.
