Sant'Anna - Cowpea
This productive, drought-tolerant variety produces incredibly long, spaghetti-like green pods. They can reach 80 cm in length, but are generally eaten when they are 40 cm long.
Sow directly in place, in sufficiently warmed soil, 1 or 2 cm deep, every 8 cm, in rows 70 cm apart, or in stacks of 4 to 8 seeds 40 cm apart. Stake the plants 3 weeks after emergence. Install stakes before the voluble stems emerge, for harmonious plant development.
