Yellow - Sweet clover
This highly melliferous biennial to perennial species has 30 to 80 cm-high stems and, from May to August, fragrant, drooping yellow flowers. It is used as a green manure because it fixes nitrogen and roots vigorously.
Sow directly in place, at a rate of 2 g per m².
Sowing can be carried out from spring to September. The plant is generally buried 6 to 8 weeks after sowing, and is resistant to frosts as low as -15°C.
