Coco Jaune du Limousin - Dwarf Common Bean
This hardy, drought-resistant variety, native to the Limousin region, produces an abundance of cylindrical pods filled with 5 to 6 small, ovoid, yellow seeds, much appreciated for their rich flavor.

Sow directly in place, 2 to 3 cm deep, every 8 cm, in rows 40 cm apart, or in stacks of 3 to 5 seeds, 40 cm apart in all directions. Plant out 3 weeks after emergence. In mild-climate regions, sow as early as April.
To consume semi-dry beans, harvest the pods as they start to turn yellow. To consume dry beans, wait until they turn yellow and dry completely.
