Coral - Sorghum
This very high-yielding variety can be grown for grain, as a green manure or for syrup production. Its thick, sweet stalks, over 2.5 m tall, bear panicles with large purple grains when fully ripe.
A little difficult to thresh, but very tasty, Coral sorghum seeds can be cooked in many ways: ground into flour, roasted, boiled or even puffed!
