According to collector Andrey Baranovski from Minsk in Belarus, this variety has long been grown in Russia, but is thought to have originated in Brazil. A variety created by Hubert BEIER, a German gardener, who wanted a hardy, vigorous tomato. It took 10 years of perseverance to stabilize this variety. An old amateur variety registered in the French GNIS catalog for 2010.
