Marblehead Yakima - Maxima squash
This very old variety produces beautiful, more or less elongated fruit weighing from 3 to 11 kg, with a very hard, blue-gray skin. Their dense, yellow-orange flesh has an excellent flavor. They keep for up to 9 months.

Sow in pots, in bunches of 3 to 4 seeds, at a temperature of 18 to 20°C, 2 to 3 weeks before planting. After the last frosts, transplant the most beautiful plant into the ground, at a distance of 1.5 to 2 m in all directions. It is also possible to sow directly into the ground, in 3 to 4-seed stacks, after the last frosts. Keep only the most vigorous plant.
