Muncher - Cucumber
This vigorous variety, resistant to the cucumber mosaic virus, produces an abundance of small, stubby fruits, 12 to 15 cm long, with a thin, thornless skin. Never bitter, with excellent flavor, they can be eaten raw in a thousand and one ways.

Sow in pots of 2 to 3 seeds under cover, 6 weeks before planting. After the last frosts, prick out with the rootball in planting holes enriched with compost, then mulch. Sow in the open ground, under the same conditions, when the soil has warmed up.
Cucumbers like warm, rich soil. In dry regions, let the stems run along the ground; in wetter regions, trellis them.
