Platte Witte Mei - Turnip
This fast-growing variety produces flat, white turnips with green collars and white flesh. Fairly resistant to bolting, the Platte Witte Mei turnip can be harvested as soon as it reaches 6 to 7 cm in diameter, and keeps well over winter.
Its name literally translates as Platte Blanc de Mai turnip, in reference to its shape and eating season, generally from mid-May onwards.
