Rocbrun - Dwarf Common bean
This very hardy, upright variety is an earlier improvement on Rocquencourt. It produces butter pods up to 17 cm long, straight, fleshy and stringless, as well as brown beans.
It is not very susceptible to classic bean diseases such as anthracnose.

Sow directly in place, 2 to 3 cm deep, at 8 cm intervals, in rows 40 cm apart, or in stacks of 3 to 5 seeds, 40 cm apart in all directions. Plant 3 weeks after emergence. In mild climates, sow as early as April.
They can be harvested once or twice a week, when they reach 12 to 15 cm in length, before becoming fibrous.
