Special Carbon / Nitrogen - Green manure mix
Designed to maximize carbon and nitrogen storage in the soil, this 12-species mix provides essential plant cover to maintain healthy, fertile humus-rich soil.
It contains: rough oats, spring barley, spring rye, faba bean, soybean, chickling vetch, rough clover, Alexandria clover, linseed, sunflower, camelina and forage rape.
Carefully prepare the area to be sown so that the soil is loose and finely crumbled on the surface. This will ensure more even emergence of the various seeds. Broadcast the seeds directly into the ground, at a rate of 4 g per square metre. Rake to bury the seeds and press down with a board or the back of a rake. Keep the soil moist until the seeds emerge. Mow as late as possible, then bury the biomass using an aerospade.
