Transvaal Ipomoea - Ipomea
This species, which can grow up to 3 m tall, produces an abundance of green leaves and beautiful mauve trumpet-shaped flowers with deep pink star-shaped centers. Its bright orange seeds are highly decorative.

Sow in pots, under light cover, 4 weeks before the last frost and cover with 1 cm of soil. Water lightly. Transplant into the ground, after the last frosts, at a minimum distance of 40 cm in all directions. For direct sowing, sow lightly in sufficiently warmed soil and thin to a minimum distance of 40 cm in all directions. To promote germination, soak seeds in water the day before sowing.
It produces numerous seeds and spontaneously resprouts.
