Pongo - Common bean
This dwarf stringless bean produces an abundance of very fine, dark-green, shiny pods, around 15 cm long and 7 to 8 mm in diameter. Carried above the foliage, they are easy to pick and reveal excellent gustatory qualities.

Sow directly in place, 2 to 3 cm deep, every 8 cm, in rows 40 cm apart, or in stacks of 3 to 5 seeds, 40 cm apart in all directions. Plant out 3 weeks after emergence. In mild-climate regions, sow as early as April.
