This compact, vigorous variety, adapted to cool climates, produces an abundance of magnificent deep purple pods, 10 to 12 cm long, turning dark green after cooking. Suitable for pot cultivation.

Sow directly in place, 2 to 3 cm deep, at 8 cm intervals, in rows 40 cm apart, or in stacks of 3 to 5 seeds, 40 cm apart in all directions. Plant 3 weeks after emergence. In mild climates, sow as early as April.
They can be harvested once or twice a week, when they reach 12 to 15 cm in length, before becoming fibrous.
