This Italian variety, renowned for its earliness, produces a beautiful, compact central apple 15 to 20 cm in diameter. Numerous side shoots then form until autumn. They're perfect steamed, velvety or au gratin!

Sow in pots under cover. Cover seeds with a thin layer of soil. Transplant when plants have 2 to 3 leaves, every 10 cm. Transplant when plants have 4 to 5 leaves, every 50 cm in rows spaced 50 cm apart, without burying the stem too deeply. For sowing in the open ground, sow lightly in rows spaced 50 cm apart. Thin to 50 cm along the row.
Spring sowing is possible as long as it is carried out just after the last frosts, to minimize the risk of early bolting.
