Roquette Ice Bred
Arugula

Ice Bred - Arugula

Ref : L0427 - Eruca sativa
Bag of 1 gram

This variety is adapted to the coldest conditions and is perfect for extending the season in northern regions or in the mountains. It is also highly resistant to drought and will do well in all types of soil... Its pronounced taste is reminiscent of wild arugula, with a few extra nuances!

Ice Bred is the result of a cross between two European varieties made in 1989 by Brett Grohsgal, and has been selected over many years to adapt to the coldest growing conditions!

Rake the plot, remove weeds and stones, then sow lightly, directly in place, in rows 20 cm apart. Pack lightly and keep moist. Thin to 7 or 8 cm along the rows.

Sow every 15 days to stagger harvests. Frequent watering limits the pungent flavor of the leaves. Easy to grow, this variety adapts to many growing conditions and resprouts spontaneously.
